Christmas in a Box
Christmas is fast approaching and like many people you probably still have shopping to do for friends and family. For those who are difficult to shop for, Jen from Grape Juice Mom, has the answer! The Holiday Advent Calendar, a custom box with 12 perforated ornament windows. This special box is made for all types of small gifts, from wine and spirits to candy and toys. Additionally, this is not any ordinary custom box. It’s designed as a Christmas tree!
The Design Process
After designing the concept of a Christmas tree design for her Advent Calendar, Jen contacted our team at Packaging Express to develop the final design and physical corrugated box sample. Based on Jen’s vision, our industrial designers developed the final structural design. This included the proper perforations and inserts that would provide strength for the outer box and the items one puts in each slot.
Furthermore, Jen’s Christmas tree box could not just be a brown cardboard box. It had to have a stunning look to it. Our recommendation was a litho-lamination label on the outside with a film laminate to provide a gloss look and extra strength. Packaging Express had delivered the custom packaging that Jen was looking for in her final product and in a timely manner!
